![]() Hockey used to have much more enforcers but in todays hockey their role has gotten really small since fighting is rare. ![]() Power forwards are usually big and heavy guys, much like grinders but slightly better at scoring.Įnforcers are the rarest player type. Snipers are obviously great scorers and mostly their best ablilities are in shooting and skating. They hit and forecheck hard to create turnovers for the opponent team. Grinders are players who are mostly there to make the opposite play as physically challenging as possible. Their first job is to create plays for snipers who are able to finish. Playmakers are guys who think pass first. They might make simple plays at the offensive side but play extremely good defensively. Two-way forwards are offensive players with great abilities at the defensive end.
